Parking is available in the church car parks on Heaphy St and Kinross St. There is also on street parking around the church, just watch out for the 60 minute bays!
At 9am we have traditional and modern music, then confession, prayers, readings, and a sermon followed by prayer ministry (opportunity to receive prayer) and communion.
At 11am we have coffee, croissant and conversation, followed by a short talk and a discussion around the tables, and then you can head off at that point, or stay for contemporary worship music.
At the 7pm we have Spirit led worship followed by a reading and sermon, we finish with prayer ministry (opportunity to receive prayer) and more worship. This service focuses on opportunities to encounter God through His Holy Spirit.
Messy church runs from 4pm til 6pm on selected dates during the year. We have drinks and games followed by crafts. We then meet together for some fun action songs and a short teaching time. We share a meal to finish.
The kids have an awesome programme, depending on their age they can join the crèche (0-3), J-Team (3-11) or Elevate youth (11-18). The groups meet in different rooms in the church complex.
Dress casually and you will fit right in. And you don’t need to wear a tie, unless you really want to, or a bowtie unless you are Dr Who.
Please feel free to bring your own Bible. We do have Bibles available at the back of the church if you do not have one or forget.
Give us a call or drop us an email at the office to discuss. As well as holding weddings at COTS, we can also assist you with marriage preparation. We love people getting married and can help make your wedding a very special occasion.
We offer baptism, dedication or thanksgiving services for babies. Ask at the office for a leaflet explaining the details of these. Baptism services for babies and young children are usually held as part of the 9am or 11am services.
Yes, we baptise adults. We usually have some baptism preparation to help you get ready for your special service. Contact the office for details.
We offer baptised adults the opportunity to renew the promises made for them at baptism. We also occasionally hold a confirmation service should you wish to be confirmed instead.
Yes. We are able to support you and your family through this difficult time, and can help you to say farewell to your loved one. Contact the office to discuss.
Contact the office and they can give you details of the room availability and costs. We have have reduced rates for charity and community group bookings.
Registrations usually open a few weeks before each programme. There will be a desk set up at the entrance of the church where you can register your child(ren) or call the office if you are unable to get to the church. But be quick! The holiday programme is popular and spaces fill up fast.

Excellent! The good news is that it’s really easy. Contact the office to find out what life groups are available.
Our sermons are all online, posted a few days after the Sunday or Wednesday.
Contact the office to go onto the regular giving system. You can direct credit us or request envelopes on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. Then you just need to bring your envelope to church to put in the collection If you are a tax payer we will give you a unique giving number, and a receipt at the end of the year so you can claim some back too.
Setting up an automatic credit with your bank should solve the problem. You can collect an automatic credit form from the office, or just bring them all together next time you come.
Look in your parish directory first. If you do not have one, then try the White Pages. If that fails, call the office to request a copy of the parish directory. (The parish directory is only given out to registered members of COTS).
